Description:
Copper Sky is an eighty-eight foot steel-hulled staysail schooner, custom-designed and first completed in 1987. In 1993 a new midsection was constructed, adding 17 feet to her waterline, and tripling water and fuel capacity for offshore world cruising in comfort and safety.
This spacious vessel now accommodates six to twelve overnight passengers in six private (twin/double) cabins. There are separate quarters for crew, and pilot berths for tour leader or naturalist.
Copper Sky is beautifully outfitted with a teak and mahogany interior, a spacious galley, saloon and dining area, three rest rooms with shore-type flushing toilets, just like home (no pumping) and three hot showers. There are four deck tables topside -- great for enjoying our fine West Coast Cuisine or for working on research and camera equipment.
